Biography: Rev. Cheryl Birch
Cheryl Birch is currently Pastor of the Friday Night Fellowship in Modesto, California. She is a Prophetic
Teacher, an Apostle in training and the CEO/President of Cheryl Birch Ministries, Inc.,
an apostolic nonprofit evangelistic outreach. She is a former Color and Image Consultant and
national speaker who became heavily involved in New Age and metaphysical phenomenon.
During the 1980’s she was a practicing New Age channeler and Tarot card reader. The Lord
Jesus Christ apprehended her heart in February 1990 and she came to know Him as her Savior during
a business convention she was attending in the Washington, D.C. area. Through the
grace of the Father, the blood of Jesus and the amazing working of the Holy Spirit, she has
been dramatically transformed and delivered from New Age, occult and metaphysical beliefs.
Since 1990 she has steadily grown into the call on her life to powerfully and prophetically share
the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the delivering and healing revelation of His word.
Cheryl Birch Ministries, Inc was born in September 1997 out of a 6-week Spiritual Warfare class held
at a worship center in Modesto, CA. Since then Cheryl has ministered to thousands of men and
women at churches, prayer groups, retreats, Bible studies and women’s meetings always sharing
from the depth of her heart what God has done in her life and revealed to her in His word. The
mix in her teaching of personal difficulties and triumphs with rock solid Bible truths ushers in a river of
God’s love, peace and presence that sets captives free and inspires them to seek greatness in God.
In 1998 Cheryl released her first book and teaching series, Spiritual Warfare 101, dealing with prayer
and intercession. Since then, dozens of dynamic new teachings have been added to the collection to
help the saints of God grow and mature in their faith. Cheryl is also the former Host of
a bimonthly cable television program called “Voices” and appeared as a guest of the Christian
television program the 11th Hour. She was a board member of Christian Public Servants from 1997 to
2007 and volunteered at the Modesto Union Gospel Women’s Mission as a bible study teacher 1991
-2005.
In 2004 Cheryl Birch Ministries, Inc founded Bless the Kids, an outreach to low-income and poverty
children attending public schools. Bless the Kids now provides backpacks filled with school
supplies to 3 schools in Modesto to children who are in great need.
Always an active church member she has taught classes about prayer, intercession and spiritual
warfare. She also has served as an Altar Worker Team Leader and Deliverance Counselor and
was actively involved in changing hearts at classes and retreats held at the church she attended.
Then in 2006 the Lord called her to Pastor the Friday Night Fellowship that now meets every Friday
at the Days Inn, Modesto CA.

Cheryl is a non-denominational Ordained Minister with United Christian Ministries International as well
as with Global Impact Group headed by Apostle Chandler Cleveland. She is currently studying for her
BA through United Christian Ministries Institute.
Since 1994 the Lord has assigned Cheryl to a marketplace ministry. He sent her to be “salt and light” in
the government and political realms. At first working as a Field Representative for Assemblyman
George House and most recently as District Director for Assemblyman and now Senator Dave Cogdill.
For twelve years, 1982-1994, she was the owner and president of F.I. Seminars/Color Balance.
During this time she became a certified color and image consultant, a color specialist, author and
national seminar speaker. Developing three unique color programs won her an Image Industry Lifetime
Achievement “IMMIE” Award for Innovation in 1990.
Both to relax and to bless children, Cheryl enjoys refurbishing teddy bears. Some are given to low-
income children and others are sold as a fundraiser for the ministry. She has been married since
August 1976 to her high school sweetheart, Scott. They were both born and raised in St. Paul,
Minnesota. Since December 1988 they have made Modesto, California their home along with Hattie Mae
and Scooter their black and white kitties.
